Nunney Fayre was again a happy day for villagers and visitors. The NCA, as organiser, is hugely grateful to the contributions many made to a successful day by volunteering, moving their cars off the streets, loaning their wheelie bins, lending their fields for car parking, and in many other ways.
Following the pattern post-Covid since 2023 we were keen to provide an opportunity for village groups to showcase or to raise funds, including our First School, the Church, the Players and the Flower Show. While the primary aim is to strengthen the village community and to welcome visitors, we did make some money, still to be finalised, but roughly £1,500 in line with recent years.
The money we raise is used to buy Christmas gifts for children at the school and pre-school, fund the two village Christmas trees, and support other free village events (such as the VE Day celebration earlier this year). Thank you again to all who volunteered and contributed to Nunney Fayre Day 2025
